The Zayed Future Energy Prize represents the vision of the late founding father and president of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan, who championed environmental stewardship and sustainability as an integral part of UAE history and heritage. This annual award celebrates achievements that reflect impact, innovation, leadership and long-term vision in renewable energy and sustainability.
The opening film featured the world renowned Human Orchestra conducted and orchestrated by award winning composer, Steve Sidwell. Using only their voices and bodies to create the entire soundscape, this magical film explores the gift nature provides for us with natural energy and how mankind is finding better and innovative ways to harness that power.
